"The DarkStar H.E.U. was an ambitious attempt to break into the home console market by a coalition of many large unnamed investors within the tech industry, this collaborative effort was seen as the revolutionary next step in the gaming industry during the midpoint of the 5th and 6th console generations.
Spearheaded by small startup "MIHN", a company of unknown origin that was seemingly made up of first time hardware and software developers fresh out of college. Despite their enthusiasm and massive amount of funding, their lack of experience would ultimately be their downfall as the project quickly fizzled out before any sort of official showings or announcements could take place.
All that seems to remain is prototype devkits, various unfinished builds of first party releases, and scattered internal documents from the early 2000s. It is unknown to us whether or not there's more in circulation but as of now it looks as if we are the only source of information on the web. :]
We at THE LOST AND FOUND FILES take pride in our ownership of this collection of unique yet tragic pieces of gaming history. Over the coming months we will continue to share materials from our vault including archived documents, ported developmental media, and hardware photos as we slowly sort through the mess we inherited!!!"
